The act of adding a dependent to League does not automatically enroll them into your Medical insurance benefits. Dependents can be added to your League account so that you may submit Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) claims on their behalf.
While adding a dependent to League does not increase your benefit costs, enrolling your dependents into your Medical benefits will incur higher insurance premiums.
Premiums for Medical, Drug, and Dental will increase based on the level of dependent coverage you choose for each benefit during the selection process when you are enrolling into the Total Rewards program.
During open enrollment, you may add a spouse and a child in the profile section (step 1 of the enrollment experience). When making selections for Drug, Medical, and Dental you can use the dropdown to elect to cover yourself only, yourself and your spouse, or yourself, your spouse, and your child. Higher insurance premiums are associated with adding your eligible dependents to your insurance benefits in this regard.
